REVISED CLOTHING SERVICE BACK IN 2013

The revised Clothing Service from last year will return in 2013. Be sure to familiarise yourself with the specific service offered for your distance.

Marathon & Half Marathon Participants
There is a Race Day drop off Clothing Service for marathon and half marathon participants only. IGA Clothing Service bags can be dropped off in the provided trailers at the assembly area on Race Day. Marathon participants can collect their IGA Clothing Bags from the Marathon Recovery Marquee at the finish line, whilst half marathon participants can collect their bags from the Clothing Service Collection Area at City Beach Oval.

12km & 4km Participants
The service differs for 12km and 4 km participants. Simply drop your IGA Clothing Service Bag at the Clothing Service Drop Off point at the event's Expo at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) on Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th August and it will be transported to the Finish Precinct at City Beach Oval ready for collection when you’ve finished the race.

12km and 4km participants are encouraged to wear clothes to the start that can be donated to the Salvation Army through our ‘Flick Your Kit’ initiative. The 'Flick Your Kit' point will be located near the entrance of PCEC and at McLean Park on race day. All you need to do is look out for the provided trailers marked ‘Flick Your Kit’ and dispose of your unwanted clothes before your race commences.

The marshalling area will be the same as 2012 and will ensure participants are marshalled indoors at the PCEC pavilions. This worked well in 2012 as it meant that participants did not have to be marshalled in the cold outdoors.

Please Note: Clothing bags will NOT be accepted on Race Day for 12km and 4km participants. Should you wish to avail of the Clothing Service, you MUST drop your IGA Clothing Bag with your Bag Tag attached at the Event Expo on Friday or Saturday.

Corporate Marquee Guests
If you’re lucky enough to be hosted in a Corporate Marquee at City Beach Oval on Race Day, you can have your Clothing Bag delivered to your marquee. Simply drop your IGA Clothing Bag at the Clothing Service Drop Off point at the Expo at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th August, and it will be delivered to your marquee on Race Day. Make sure you know the name of the Marquee you will be hosted in and ensure you remember to drop it off at the Expo.
