The 2012 RAC Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma is back - bigger and better than ever with all new start and finish locations, giving you the chance to ride your way!
The event will have a fresh new look on Sunday 18th March with all distances now finishing at Langley Park in the City of Perth and new start locations for participants to choose from.
Director of Events Thomas Wagner said the changes were designed to make the unique event more accessible to the Perth community.
"We're really excited about the changes for 2012. The creation of multiple start locations both north and south of the river, which all converge in the centre of Perth, will ensure all participants can travel to the start lines and home again with more ease than ever", Mr Wagner said.
Participants can choose from the 70km Full Hike from Mandurah, the 30km Jetts Fitness Mid Hike from Kwinana (south) or Currambine (north) or the 10km Mini Hike from Bull Creek (south) or Stirling (north).
The RAC Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma is the major annual fundraising event for the Asthma Foundation WA.
Asthma Foundation WA CEO David Johnson said the funds raised through the event would go towards education and trainging for those living with Asthma.
